Nicolas-Deslauriers

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens announced that forward Nicolas Deslauriers underwent surgery earlier on Tuesday at the Montreal General Hospital to repair a facial fracture. Deslauriers suffered the injury during a preseason game on Monday night at the Bell Centre against the New Jersey Devils. He will be out indefinitely.

Last season, the LaSalle native suited up for 58 games for the Canadiens, recording 14 points (10G, 4A) to go along with 55 penalty minutes.
Deslauriers was the Los Angeles Kings' third-round pick (84th overall) in 2009.
